eCampusOntario Virtual Learning Strategy Expressions of Interest: Round 2

eCampus Ontario has released a second round of funding in support of the Government of Ontario’s Virtual Learning Strategy (VLS). Through this second round of the VLS, $7 million of new funding is now available for projects in the areas of:

An internal review process has been established for this funding opportunity, and proposal submission to eCampus will be coordinated by the Office of the Provost.

Draft project proposals are due on Tuesday, January 4, 2022; with final Expressions of Interest due internally on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

Detailed information regarding Western’s internal process for proposal development is available on the joinable eCampus OWL site, as well as an annotated template to assist with your proposal. You will need to access this site to submit your draft and final EOIs. A summary of key dates and resources is provided below:

  • Updated to Tuesday, December 21, 2021 (previously Wednesday, December 8, 2021): Complete your Intent to Submit Survey.
  • Tuesday, January 4, 2022: Draft EOI Due. [Submit a WORD or pages copy].
  • Monday, January 10, 2022: Draft EOI returned with feedback
  • Wednesday, January 12, 2022: Final Submission Due in OWL. [Submit a final machine-readable PDF copy]. Your submission will be forward to the appropriate signing authority and submitted to eCampus Ontario on your behalf by Jan 14, 2022.
