WALS Bookings for Fall/Winter 2021-22 Academic Year
In anticipation of increased face-to-face teaching opportunities in the fall, the Western Active Learning Space (WALS) is currently welcoming bookings for Fall/Winter 2021-22 Classes. The booking deadline is April 16, 2021. The classrooms will be allocated based on the principles of the WALS Booking Policy.
About WALS:
The Western Active Learning Spaces (WALS) represent a range of active learning classrooms available at Western University. These classrooms are designed to promote effective student engagement, collaborative learning and the effective implementation of in-class active learning activities. You can learn more about the classrooms at the WALS Room Information website. If you have questions about the WALS room or booking process, please email wals@uwo.ca. The Centre for Teaching and Learning also provides pedagogical and technical training for WALS instructors.
To apply for a WALS classroom, please complete a booking request form.
We are currently not booking WALS classrooms for Intersession/Summer 2021.
We will finalize and share bookings for the upcoming Fall and Winter sessions the week of May 17, 2021.
