The Retreat Experience of a Lifetime for Educational Developers at Any Stage of their Careers

Registration

The registration fee is $530 plus HST for a total of $599.00. The registration fee includes three nights accommodation at the Ignatius Jesuit Centre, meals and snacks for the duration of the retreat, and the program itself.

Please note that enrolment is limited. The registration and payment deadline has been extended to March 25, 2019.


Cancellation Policy

Full refunds less a $100 (+tax) administration fee will be given before April 1, 2019. No refunds will be given on or after April 1, 2019.

All cancellations MUST be received in writing to Katelyn Barnes (kbarnes8@uwo.ca).

In the event of cancellation or non-attendance due to an emergency, please submit your request in writing to Katelyn Barnes (kbarnes8@uwo.ca) no later than April 30, 2019. Refunds will be granted on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation of the Institute

In the event that the EDC Institute cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the institute organizers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the institute organizers, then institute organizers cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as: transportation, accommodations, etc. Under these circumstances, the institute organizers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future institute or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organization of the institute and which could not be recovered from third parties.


EDC Conference and Institute Bursary

The EDC Conference and Institute Bursary Fund is open to early-career educational developers (up to 3 years of relevant experience) who, without the benefit of such funding, would be unable to attend the Institute. At maximum, each bursary will reimburse successful applicants for the cost of the Institute registration fees. The exact amount of bursary funding available to individual applicants will depend on the number of successful applications.

The deadline for bursary fund applications associated with the EDC Institute is Friday, March 1 at 11:59 PM (EST).  All applications should be submitted, via email, to the EDC Vice-Chair, Awards and Recognition - Natasha Hannon (nhannon@niagaracollege.ca).
